The usual day

Just so you know, here are some facts that you, dear reader, would want to know about my work here. I am going to write them down here because these things are no secret to my bosses here in the corporate communications department.
Usually, my daily schedule begins with searching for news stories pertaining to the Aboitiz Group and feeding them to our media relations specialist. He uploads them to the NewsWire database and it is then released in the 2:00 p.m. edition. Some news items that are seen in the afternoon are carried over in the next morning’s edition that comes out at 9:00 a.m. the following day.
In the office, it has become an unwritten SOP for us to check our corporate mail accounts always because that is where the communication for the day’s tasks takes place. Almost all information is passed on through email, even if the person is just a few meters away, or perhaps, just one cubicle apart (FYI, I am provided my own corporate email account and my own cubicle as well, for ease of work and for communication with my officemates).
Then when we are done with monitoring, we focus on other matters. I have to read more on assignments that are given to me. When there are things to write, I have to give them more focus so that what should come out is a presentable and near-perfect output.
While this may sound routine (and admittedly this is), there are new things that are learned along the way. This is just the first three weeks, and I bet there is more to come.
Di lalim masulod dinhi kay naghulat gyod ko og tulo ka semana alang lamang niini ug usikan lang nako ang akong pagtrabaho dinhi? Pastilan.
