I’m not really a fan of Flock. I just downloaded it to see how it worked as a fork of Firefox (lately it used Chromium), and how it would fare with Rockmelt, another browser designed for the social networker.
Usually, I try to look for browsers that integrate my social networking sites. While being content with Rockmelt, I just wanted to have a backup just in case things went wrong with Rockmelt.
By April 26 (Tuesday), Flock will no longer be supported. I just read about this in an email from the Flock community about this change (having downloaded Flock, I also subscribed to their email service).
And, if you visit the Flock website, you’ll be greeted with this welcome message telling its users to download either Chrome or Firefox.
If you were a user of Flock, I hope you could drop comments too.
