In Vino Veritas

More than a year ago, I wrote a poem about letting out complaints. How? Here is it:
Tongue-tied and restrained
I want to let out a complaint
I can’t release myself from bondage
Of a feeling imprisoned in age.
My friends deride me
Oh! They can’t sem to get over me
Every time your sour sweetness drenches me
And makes me fly high toward ye.
Venus, elusive and evasive
What have you to give?
You endow me with pleasure
But ulitmately, I’m always unsure.
Let the rancid sweetness of your spirit
Invade my thought, my wit
For centuries I’ve pondered
My mind will always wander
From the truth’s ghost
Brought about by a benevolent host
The spirit of your toast
Makes me talk of things celestial and boast.
I am the greatest, I am invincible
You are love, you are plausible
The truth is visible
In wine everything is veritable.
